The Position: 2D Pixel Artist

Job Type: Full Time

Description:

2D environmental and animation artist to start work A.S.A.P. on upcoming DS, GBA and wireless projects. 3D art experience is a plus but not a must. Candidates MUST have pixel art experience.

Requirements
• 1-3 years experience in the gaming/interactive entertainment industry and/or VERY impressive portfolio
• Must have a passion for gaming and creating games.
• Professional experience with Photoshop
• Must be able to create original characters and environments from scratch.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong overall artistic skills, with particular emphasis on sense of color and lighting
• Must be able to meet schedules and artistic guide lines on time in a professional environment
• Must have good work ethic and require little supervision
• Ability to rapidly learn and assimilate new technologies
• Applicants must also be able to work in Canada (BBB might help with work permit) and willing to relocate to London, On in short time frame
