Kada to koristiti?

Dali su queryi brži ako je spoj sa bazom stalan? Koje su prednosti/mane? Ja mislim da se na većini shared hostinga može korisiti samo jedan persistent connection zbog utjecaja na resurse...

RTFM Smile Sve piše u PHP manualu. To što piše naravno vrijedi i ako ne koristiš PHP.

Persistent uglavnom nije dobro koristit na shared hostovima u većini slučajeva
