This outbreak, with its high case fatality rate of approximately 46.3%, poses a grave threat to the region, and the lack of targeted medical countermeasures further exacerbates the situation.
Kaseya's call for support in implementing the DRC government's decision to deploy the Ervebo vaccine is a strategic move.
